Adrian Briones joins the Bethune-Cookman Strength and Conditioning staff bringing the program a great amount of experience working with a variety of excellent Strength and Conditioning programs around the nation. He comes to B-CU fresh from a Term Assistant role at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where he worked with the Volunteers' football program and the men's and women's track & field team, where he designed and implemented workouts specifically for the men's sprinters.

Prior to that, Briones was a Strength and Conditioning intern, at Tennessee, working directly with men's tennis and assisting with football, baseball, and basketball.

Before making his way to the southeastern U.S., he was a Volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach at the U.S. Air Force Academy, assisting football in teaching proper techniques on Olympic lifts.

He gained key experience working with some of the nation's best athletes at the United States Olympic Committee training center, designing workouts for the for men's and women's trampoline team, while assisting with the training of power sports, including men's boxing, men's Greco and freestyle wrestling, women's freestyle wrestling, men's and women's shooting, and men's and women's judo.

Briones started his career at Belhaven University, working with football fresh out of the program himself.

A native of Huntsville, Texas, Briones graduated from Belhaven University in 2007 with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, after wrapping up his senior year of football with the Blazers. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Kinesiology from Tennessee in 2011.
