Lani Luers begins her ninth season at Bethune-Cookman. She is also responsible for football, tennis and track and field.

Prior to Bethune-Cookman, Leuers was an athletic training intern at the College of William and Mary from 2001-02, where she worked with volleyball and men's and women's gymnastics.

The Kankakee, Ill. native played softball at Stetson, where she graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training. She became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2001 and earned her certification as Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2002

She is married to Matthew Luers and resides in Port Orange, Fla.
