GREENSBORO, N.C. - Two Wildcats from Bethune-Cookman track & field head out this weekend, looking to extend their season at Aggie Stadium on the campus of North Carolina A&T. This weekend is the NCAA Track & Field East Regional Championships, and Ron Danielle Williams and Eric Cray made the cut to match their skills against the best in the East.

“I think we can look for a very exciting time this weekend," said Head Coach Donald Cooper. "The athletes are really energized and well prepared going into this meet.”

Both events set off near 3:30 pm EST on Thursday, May 27. Eric Cray will compete in the 400m hurdles, while Ron Danielle Williams will throw in the shot put, in which she made it to the NCAA National Championships last season.

“Everybody at this meet is talented and bringing their ‘A-game’," noted Coach Cooper, "but we expect that we’ll be at our best and move to the next round, and then on to nationals.”
