Moving into his second year on the athletic staff, B-CU alum and former baseball player (1997-2000) Matt Knox serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Promotions. He oversees sponsorship, branding, ad sales efforts across all athletic seasons, and integrates marketing plans involving each of the 17 Division I sports in the department.

Knox was a four-year letter winner in baseball at B-CU and was a two-year captain playing on three MEAC Championship teams for coaches Richard Skeel and Mervyl Melendez. He signed as a free-agent infielder by the Montreal Expos and played professional baseball in 2000-01.

Knox graduated Cum Laude from B-CU with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Knox has worked in corporate sales and marketing the past eight years and was Director of baseball Operations for the Wildcats in 2010 and also Director of the Melendez Baseball Academy the past three years.

He and his wife, Tracy, have two children, Cameron (11) and Aubry (2).
