NOTING CUMMINGS... A wonderful young player with a bright future for the Wildcats ... Is expected to be a vital part of the offense this year and many years to come at Bethune-Cookman University ... Uses a soft dribble to get past defenders simply to open himself up, as well as being unpredictable and driving to the basket for the shot or the foul ... One of the best, if not the best, free throw shooters on the squad ... Should contribute greatly, as well as fight for a starting job at the "2" spot on the court for the Wildcats ... Poured in 215 points for an average of 7.2 points per contest in his first season with the Bethune-Cookman program ... Played in all 30 games for the Wildcats with eight tries as a starter ... Connected on a team second-best 30 three-point baskets throughout the year for a 25 percent (.252) touch from beyond the arc ... Shot 30 percent (.295) from the field overall on 59-of-200 shots ... Finished third on the team in total scoring on the campaign ... Seemed to have to adjust midway through the year to a slight shooting slump, but bounced back nicely for the `Cats towards the end of the year ... Picked up a team-high 82 percent (.817) touch from the foul line as he hit on 67-of-82 attempts from the charity stripe ... Added 42 rebounds on the year for an average of 1.4 boards per contest from his shooting guard position on the court ... Added 40 assists and 15 steals ... Stroked in a season-high 17 points at South Carolina State (Feb. 12) where he hit on 4-for-9 shooting from the field ... Went perfect from the foul line against Florida A&M (Dec. 2) in his first-ever conference game within the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference ... Had a season-best four rebounds in that same game against the Rattlers on the road in Tallahassee, Fla. ... Scored in double-digits seven times on the campaign ... Was a blistering 4-for-7 shooting from three-point land in the season-opener against Florida Tech (Nov. 16) ... Added 12 points and two steals at Savannah State (Dec. 22) ... Averaged 8.2 points per game in league play for the year ... Landed 10 points against Howard (Feb. 17) in Daytona Beach where he hit two three-point shots ... Was actually perfect from the free-throw line eight (8) times during the season with a 2-for-2 performance or better for the `Cats. PREP/PERSONAL...
