Darryl Stinson joins the Bethune-Cookman men's basketball staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2011-2012 season.

The Conyers, Ga. native was a standout at Rockdale HS, earning all-region honors after averaging 18.7 points and 11 rebounds a game as a senior.

He played his college ball at Tiffin (Ohio) University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration on accounting. He's currently working on his Master's at B-CU.

Stinson's duties include co-ordinating film exchanges and assisting in day-to-day operations of the program.

The son of Darryl Stinson Sr. and Angele Marie Perez, Stinson has three sisters and a brother.
