Letitia Curry joins the Lady Wildcats in 2011-12 in her first season as B-CU's graduate assistant, claiming the first spot in the newly-created position.

Curry comes to B-CU fresh off a playing career wrapping up with two seasons at Seton Hall University, where she played forward for the Pirates, averaging 3.5 points and 4.4 rebounds over her time at SHU. She graduated from Seton Hall in 2010 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Prior to SHU, she played in two seasons at American University.

After graduation, she coached AAU team, the Boro Blitz from Willingboro, N.J. in 2011 and in the Fall League for Paul VI High School girls in Haddonfield, N.J. in 2010.

The Pennsauken, N.J. native is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High, and helped lead her team to South Jersey and State Championships as a senior. Curry is a Member of Woodrow Wilson 1,000 point club, was 2004 McDonalds All-American nominee and was a four-time Street and Smith All-American Honorable Mention player. She still holds the single game rebounding record for Pennsauken High School.

Curry is currently hard at work on her Master's degree at Bethune-Cookman and will return to Pennsauken, N.J. when she has finished up her duties and post-graduate education. She is the daughter of Ronald Sr. and Lori Curry, and has a younger brother, Ronald Curry Jr.
