Call WBB Contact Michael Stambaugh for more details - 386.481.2278 - WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Following the conclusion of the MEAC Tournament Women's Championship Game, MEAC officials announced the honorees selected as the 2010 MEAC All-Tournament Team. Bethune-Cookman's Sarah Bolden was among those named to honored group. The 6'1" junior center from Louisiana had a huge impact on the Lady Wildcats' success in the 2010 MEAC Tournament. Bolden wrapped up the MEAC Championships averaging 14.3 ppg and 6.7 rpg in tournament play, in addition to 4 blocks and 2 steals. Bolden was the only member of the tournament team that did not participate in the championship game. Joining Bolden on the All-Tournament team were Sophilia Hipps (SCSU, Guard), Whitney Wiley (SCSU, Guard), Melanie Warner (Hampton, Forward), and Quanneisha Perry (Hampton, Forward). Hampton's Warner was named the MEAC Tournament's Outstanding Player, while Hampton Head Coach David Six was named Tournament Outstanding following the Lady Pirates defeating South Carolina State, 57-46, to win the 2010 MEAC Tournament Championship.
