Dr. Gary Freeman Steps Down As Men's & Women's B-CU Golf CoachDr. Gary Freeman, B-CU's men's and women's golf coach since August of 1998, will be stepping down as coach. Coach Freeman will stay to help with the transition of naming a new coach by the end of the year. "Gary Freeman has been a Godsend to our university," said B-CU Athletic Director Lynn Thompson. Emma Tayler Finishes Second Overall At Stetson TournamentDeLand, Florida - Emma Tayler shot rounds of 72-74-73 - 219 to finish runnerup to Stetson's Alex Buelow - final 218 medalist score at the Stetson University Holiday Inn Express/Hatter Invitational. B-CU's Emma Tayler Co-Medalist Through Second Round At Hatter InvitationalDeLand, Florida - Bethune-Cookman's Emma Tayler fired an even par 72 Monday to share tournament medalist honors through one round of the Stetson University Holiday Inn Express/Hatter Invitational. Tayler's 35-37 round puts her in a first place tie with Stetson's Alex Buelow as she shot a 33-39-72 over the 6,098 yard Victoria Hills Golf Club Course. The Lady Wildcat golfers are in fourth place as a team and Florida Atlantic leads the team competition by one stroke over Florida Southern and three shots over host Stetson.
