Women’s Team 6-0 At MEAC Roundup in Sumter, SC Over Spring Break Written By Melanie Cheatham, B-CU Sports Information Department Student Intern Sumter, SC- Over Spring Break, the BCU tennis teams traveled to Sumter, South Carolina in hopes of sweeping the tournament. The Lady Wildcats handled business at the MEAC roundup going undefeated (6-0) in the tournament. The Lady Wildcats were victorious over North Carolina A & T, Norfolk State University, Winston-Salem State University, Savannah State University, UMES, and Hampton University. Both the Wildcat teams will continue competition this weekend. The men’s team will compete on Saturday, March 13, against Northern Illinois University in Daytona Beach at City Island Tennis Center. The Lady Wildcats will travel to Statesboro, Georgia to compete on Sunday against Georgia Southern University. Continue to follow the Wildcats' season at www.B-CUathletics.com.
