THIS SEASON: Rachelle provided greatly along the middle row for the Wildcats last season in her first year with the program ... A powerful hitter that uses a tall frame with long arms to make a block and register a powerful attack on the outside ... Will be expected to play on both sides of the court (right & left), as well as providing a nice serve that lies low to the net ... A team captain for he Wildcats this year as she is a natural leader on and off the playing surface for head coach Vanessa Cogswell.

JUNIOR SEASON: Started in 19 matches for the Wildcats after transferring into the program ... Played in 88 games while registering 98 total kills on the season ... Her 98 kills ranked her fifth on the team in that category ... Picked up 28 assists and 18 service aces for the Wildcats ... Got back on defense from the front row for 46 digs ... Had 39 blocks on the campaign (all assisted), putting her at third on the squad in total blocks ... Registered a season-high attack percentage of .462 against Delaware State (Nov. 18) in the MEAC Tournament ... Posted a season-high nine kills against Morgan State (Oct. 15) in the MEAC Round-Up ... Also had eight kills against conference foe Norfolk State (Sept. 30) ... Had four assists against Savannah State (Oct. 2) ... Posted four digs in three separate contests against Florida International (Aug. 27), Delaware State (Oct. 14) and Alcorn State (Sept. 17).

BEFORE BETHUNE-COOKMAN: Played her high school volleyball for coach Laune Hawkins at The Limerick school in Limerick, Saskatchewan (Canada) ... Named to the President's List with a perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) ... Played in the Red Coat Trail School Division ... Helped the Raiders to win the 2003 District Championship ... Picked up Team MVP honors as a senior ... Also lettered as an outside hitter for Dan Nowalk at Panola College in Texas ... Helped her team to a fourth place showing in the conference.

PERSONAL: Born to the world as Rachelle Lynae Aupperle on Oct. 3, 1985 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan ... She is the proud daughter of Rick and Corinne Aupperle ... Her sisters Jenelle currently plays volleyball at fellow MEAC school Delaware State ... An interesting hobby of Rachelle's is that she enjoys knitting and putting pictures in scrapbooks ... Came to B-CC because of the location and the coach (Vanessa Cogswell) ... Says that her parents have been the biggest athletic influence in her life because they have always been supportive fans, as well as pushing her to reach her goals ...
