THIS SEASON: Terra Wagner entered last season as a highly-recruited junior college player, and she absolutely lived up to the hype ... Stepped up and provided dearly for a young team with depth and leadership on the outside ... Spends most of her time at the outside hitter position, but can transition herself very nicely into the role of "libero" as a defensive specialist when needed ... Named as an All-Conference player at Tyler Junior College ... Contributed more for power and kills last year than defense, but she is still a defensive-minded player ... JUNIOR SEASON: Came right into the program and became an immediate factor on offense and defense for the Wildcats ... Saw action in all 117 games for the Wildcats while starting in 31-of-33 matches ... Finished third on the team in kills (222) ... Averaged 1.90 kills per game ... Third on the squad in assists with 45 to her credit ... Fourth on the squad in service aces (27) ... Also collected a team third-best 287 digs on the campaign with an average of 2.45 digs per contest ... Grabbed 22 blocks (all assisted) ... Finished the season as the team's fourth-highest player in points with 260 (2.22 ppg) ... Had her highest attack percentage in a mach against Savannah State (Sept. 13) where she had .500 hitting ... Registered a season-high 19 kills against Savannah State (Sept. 13) ... Had her second-highest kills performance of the year against Savannah State (Oct. 2) with 18 ... Handed out nine assists against Norfolk State (Oct. 8) ... Picked up eight assists at North Florida (Sept. 27) ... Picked up a season-high 19 digs against The Citadel (Sept. 10) ... Also had 17 digs twice on the year against Delaware State (Oct. 14) and Hampton (Oct. 15), both in the MEAC Round-Up ... Dished out a season-high six service aces against Savannah State (Sept. 13).

BEFORE BETHUNE-COOKMAN: At Franklin High School, Terra was a District MVP ... She was also named to the First Team All-District squad ... Played four seasons under head coach Kate Barnett with the Lions program ... Helped her squad in being playoff qualifiers for three straight years (2001, '02 and '03) ... A member of the District Championship squad in 2003 ... As a freshman (2000), helped Franklin High in earning a Regional qualification appearance ... In junior college, she was selected to the All-Conference Team ... Helped her team to a third place finish in the conference for coach Dana Hatch as an outside hitter.

She has done charity events, such as walking to help promote awareness and earn money for multiple sclerosis ... Says the biggest athletic influence in her life has been her junior college coach because she's been doing camps at her high school since she was young ...
